French-Girl Style: the Newest Style Stars From the Streets of Paris Fashion Week
If you’re as obsessed with French-girl style as we are, you’ve been lusting after the wardrobes of Carine Roitfeld, Emmanuelle Alt, and Caroline de Maigret for years. There’s just something about the way French women put themselves together that says, (A.) I didn’t try at all, and (B.) I’m fabulous and I know it.
Now, there’s a new crop of French girls that are taking Paris Fashion Week by storm. From Marie Ange-Casta, to Gaia Weiss, we can pretty much guarantee these 10 women will (A.) have you wardrobe lusting immediately, and (B.) prove that, yes, there must be something in the water. Marie Ange Casta
Does Casta look familiar? Those sea-green eyes, the chiseled cheeks? Yes, she’s the younger sister of supermodel Laetitia Casta, one of the most famous French models—ever. The younger Casta, 25, is a model having worked with Mango, Vichy, and Reebok, as well as an actress.
As the senior fashion editor of i-D magazine, Sarr-Jamois’ experimental fashion and killer afro have us hooked. And we’re not alone. BothVogue and Manrepeller have pledged their love of the 28-year-old style queen and we simply can’t get enough.
The 24-year-old actress and model, who has starred in films such as The Legend of Hercules and Mary Queen of Scots, isn’t shy of color. She mixed unlikely colors wears for bold pieces—a poppy-red shift dress, an amethyst evening dress—with aplomb.
Roux’s style is is a fusion of classic and experiment. We love how the actress layered her luxe Chloé look at the house’s how this morning.
The 28-year-old actress’s look has range. She can go from sweet minidresses to menswear-inspired looks in a snap.

As the lead singer for Christine and the Queens, Letissier is the rocker of the bunch. She is known for her boyish pantsuits and that Chloe ’70s track jacket above—heaven.
It’s unsurprising that Gilbert’s look veers towards the ethereal and diaphanous. After all, she is a dancer in the Paris Opera Ballet.
