Keanu Reeves staged an action-movie comeback of sorts when he starred in John Wick, a movie about a man who goes on a revenge rampage through a criminal underworld after his dog is killed by a gangster. As far as we know the actor has nothing to do with the movie that brings us here today, but it's probably not a coincidence that this comedy about two guys who penetrate the criminal underworld after someone steals their pet cat happens to be named Keanu.
Keanu stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele and is directed by their Key & Peele producer-director Peter Atencio. You're probably on board based on those names and that description alone, but if you're not, the supporting cast should do the trick. It includes Will Forte, Luis Huzman, Rob Huebel, Method Man and Jason Mitchell, who recently blew us away as Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton.
The first trailer is now online and it makes Keanu look exactly like the kind of inspired action-comedy you would get from the minds behind Key & Peele. It is a red-band trailer, though, so keep that in mind when you press play at work.
Keanu hits theaters on April 22, 2016.
