The Equalizer 2: As his latest movie, The Magnificent Seven, hits theaters, director Antoine Fuqua has been confirmed to be helming the sequel to his own 2014 hit The Equalizer, based on the classic TV series. The Equalizer 2, which is set to start shooting in a year, will be his fourth movie with star Denzel Washington, whom he directed to an Oscar in Training Day. Rings: Fans of The Ring franchise will have to wait even longer for the next sequel, as Paramount has pushed back the release of Rings once again. The third-parter was set to open this November following moves from April of this year and then October. The horror movie, which stars Italian actress Matilda Lutz as a girl who makes a new discovery about the evil video tapes, is now opening February 3, 2017. Paramount also pushed back the next Friday the 13th from January to next October. [Variety]

 

Trespass Against Us Trailer: Brendan Gleeson and Michael Fassbender play father and son in the British crime drama Trespass Against Us, which recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Adam Smith, who makes his feature directorial debut here, is a fan-favorite director of Doctor Who episodes.
