Swiss Army Man

Beast of Burden: Daniel Radcliffe (Swiss Army Man, above) will star as a drug-smuggling pilot in Beast of Burden. The action-thriller takes place on a single day as the pilot must deal with a thicket of law enforcement officials and drug cartel troublemakers. Swedish filmmaker Jesper Ganslandt will direct. Doctor Who

Black Panther: Letitia Wright (TV's Doctor Who, above left) has joined the cast of Marvel's Black Panther. It's not known what role she will play; she also recently snared a key role in Steven Spielberg's upcoming Ready Player One. Chadwick Boseman will star as T'Challa, the ruler of the nation of Wakanda; other cast members include Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker and Lupita Nyong'o. Ryan Coogler (Creed) will direct. Godzilla 2: Michael Dougherty and Zach Shields, who previously teamed to write the horror-comedy Krampus, have been hired to write the sequel to 2014's Godzilla (above). The movie is set for release on March 22, 2019. It's also been rumored that Legendary may be setting up a so-called "writer's room" to develop ideas for future installments of its giant-monsters universe, revolving around Godzilla and King Kong.
