Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Rose Red: Snow White's sister Rose Red will be featured in a new Disney live-action movie. The character originated in a German fairy tale that has nothing to do with the fairy tale adapted for the animated Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (above). Justin Merz wrote a screenplay that was then reworked by Evan Daugherty (Snow White and the Huntsman) into an idea that mixes the two fairy tales, bringing Rose Red into the more familiar story to try and save her sister after Snow White bites a poisoned apple.
