Princes William and Harry Admit That Sometimes Prince Charles Is an Embarrassing Dad
Apparently, Prince Charles sometimes embarrasses his kids. Yup — the future King of England is sometimes just as embarrassing as your dad! Princes William and Harry revealed all in the documentary When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of the Prince’s Trust, about The Prince’s Trust, a charity founded by Prince Charles nearly 40 years ago.
The film, out January 4, includes relaxed interviews with Charles, William, and Harry, according to The Daily Mail, in which Charles’ two sons moan about their dad’s “rabbiting on” (that’s “talking a lot,” in British slang) and horrible handwriting (apparently, by the end of the day his handwriting gets so bad that even his sons can’t decipher it).
William also shares a story about how, when he was in a school play as a child, a special effect malfunctioned, causing Charles to burst out in inappropriate laughter. It embarrassed William then, but now he also shares the family trait of laughing “when things go wrong,” he said.
We’re sure Prince George and Princess Charlotte are going to love that.
