Suria FM starts the new year with a challenge
After taking on horses, dragon boats, and rock climbing in 2015, Cabaran Grandstand Suria returns in 2016 with more challenges in store for the brave contenders.
Suria FM presenters Halim Othman and Naim Tahak have a new list of challenges to complete this year. First, they will take on each other in a mentally-strenuous Escape Room challenge on Jan 9 at The Curve in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The duo will be locked in a room where the only way out is to solve puzzles for escape codes. They will be tested based on their knowledge in Maths, English literature, and current affairs.
The fastest person to figure out the code will emerge as winner and earn bragging rights.
Naim sees Cabaran Grandstand Suria as a fun way to bond with listeners and give them the chance to mingle with celebrities as well. He also believes it is more than just a friendly contest between him and Halim.
“This challenge will be an opportunity for both of us as radio announcers to strengthen the relationship between us and our listeners.” Naim said.
Halim echoed his partner’s statement, saying the listeners are the main reason why Cabaran Grandstand Suria has been a hit.
“The support from the listeners is what got us to where we are right now,” he said.
Suria FM is giving 10 lucky winners the chance to be a part of Cabaran Grandstand Suria via a WeChat contest. Check out www.suriafm.com.my and www.facebook.com/SuriaFMMalaysia for more information.
Tune in to Grandstand Suria with Halim and Naim every weekend from 9am-1pm on Suria FM (105.3FM in the Klang Valley).
